update 2, latter portion of the day, thursday

we went to a bar called sensation. it was cool, lots of red stars and mao zedong stuff, but alcohol was a bit more expensive.. need to pregame with some store bought liquor for that. but overall it was fun. chinese people are interesting. the people i met so far are also fun. connie youre gonna get akick out of this one: I need a Wang took a flaming shot.. lolz. but anyway, theres a chinese fob in our group and he takes us around and transaltes for us and shit.

oh also there are inter-continental missiles parked near by and we got some drunken lulz pics. that was fun

china update

so far its day 2.

day 1: i went to the great wall. it was awesome. kinda. to get to the wall you have to walk up a lot of stairs. like the universal studios stairs times like 5. but going down it was super cool. we took this toboggan down the entire mountain. then we went to some bar called sensation. open bar for ten bucks. what whatt

day 2: we went to tiananmen square, forbidden city, temple of heaven, and pearl market.

i didnt get to go to mao’s mausoleum because i was wearing sandles but it was still cool. the forbidden city is fucking huge. and intricate. temple of heaven was chill. there were a lot of seniors just chillin. and i got shoes and a zippo at the pearl market for like 30 bucks. not too shabby.

life in china, beijing. people dress so weird. its hard to describe. maybe ill put up pictures later. people smoke a lot, even indoors. some parts are nice, and some parts are dirty ilke any other city. people stare a lot. tap water is not safe to drink. bathrooms smell like shit, even in a nice restaurant. alcohol is cheap, food is cheap, everyting is cheap. and the food thus far isnt my favorite.. :/ but cant complain.
